STARTER PLANTS- Some of the plants on this list are "prebonsai" plants ready for training.

LIGHT- Grown in South Florida shadehouses these plants are well suited for indoor use, and in warm weather will grow best outside in indirect light.

SOIL-The soil used is a mixture of peat (for moisture retention), sand (for good drainage), and bark (soil aeration) or Styrofoam aerolite.There is not one soil type for every bonsai.

The soil you choose for your plants depends on the type of plant, the light, temperature and water usage.

FERTILIZER- Soil has enough slow release fertilizer to last for several months. A diluted mixture of liquid fertilizer is recommended twice a year during growing periods.

BLOOMING type plants may or may not be in bloom when shipped. These need lots of light and regular feeding, as with most plants.

CONTAINERS-All of the plants are shipped in plastic grower pots unless noted otherwise. Some photos may be in larger decorative pots to show plant variety.

AVAILABILITY is subject to change. Plants are at various stages of growth,and not always ready to ship.

SHIPPING-We ship small plants by USPS Priority Mail. Large specimens are for local delivery only. Some leaf drop is normal during shipment and acclimation period. Upon receipt water plants and place in well lit and warm area. (Not direct sun or sunburn may occur.) Shipping costs are not included in pricing.
