The white Bird of Paradise Strelitzia alba is a larger tree form of the Orange Bird of Paradise. It often will be in clumps five to six feet wide and stand eighteen feet tall. The leaves are shaped the same as the Orange Bird of Paradise but are much larger. the leaves are 18 to 24 inches wide and three to four feet long. The petiole is often four to five feet tall. The flower is shaped like the Orange Bird of Paradise but is significantly larger, 10 to 12 inches long.
